Margaret Chiaro was born in York, Pennsylvania. She attended the University of Arizona where she graduated cum laude with a BFA. She then went on to attain her MFA from the New York Academy of Art, a graduate school of figurative art.
Margaret has exhibited nationally in a variety of galleries across the country in both solo and group exhibitions. She currently resides in Oceanside, California and is a working artist, art teacher and yoga instructor.
In her own words, "My goal is to best portray the subject's individuality while engulfing the viewer in a an emotionally charged specific moment. I love duality and opposition, balance over symmetry, and the idea of shared energy."
