Drawing for teens: Learn the basics!
Have fun exploring the basics of drawing using traditional methods which can also be translated to digital Art like comics and anime. ACE’s Expert Instructors will address basics and advanced techniques for both Beginner and advanced drawers.
Class Details:
Class meets twice per month in person at Studio ACE on the second and fourth Thursdays. Classes will cover concepts such as:
Value- Working on shading from white to black, learning to use graphite to practice and control pressure to achieve desired scale.
Lines- Practicing drawing lines to help with constructing 3D shapes and composition.
Shape- Using 2D and 3D objects to practice light and shadow implementing learned value skills.
Composition- Drawing still life compositions using everyday objects to further explore and perfect learned skills.

Time: 5:30-6:30pm
Ages: 12-17
Limit: 8 Students (in person at Studio ACE)
Cost Per Class: $10/Student
Supplies: Students may bring their own art supplies or Drawing Kits are available for purchase for $15/kit. Kits include graphite pencils, eraser, and sketch pad. Purchase via the link below and pick up at the studio before class!

CLASS POLICIES:
Please sign students in and provide a phone number, if you have not already, for safety reasons.
Due to safety protocols and limited staff capacity, we cannot accommodate drop-off or check-in for classes any earlier than 5 minutes before the start of class.
For the same reason students need to be picked up promptly at the end of class.
Note: We cannot send students to the car even if they can see their parent/guardian in the car, please pick them up at the door for safety reasons! Thank you for your understanding!
